He combines broad technical and operational knowledge with a strong understanding of how projects, people, and business systems must work together to deliver successful outcomes.
Throughout his career, Greg has held operational, commissioning, production, and client-side leadership roles supporting major industrial facilities across Canada. His experience spans control room and field operations, construction support, commissioning and startup, operational readiness, contractor coordination, project interfaces, and owner¡¯s representation. He has played key leadership roles in complex facility startups and shutdowns, working alongside engineering, construction, operations, maintenance, and contractor teams to safely transition projects from construction into reliable long-term operation.
Greg has developed operational improvements, process control strategies, and alarm management solutions that support safer, more efficient facility performance. His experience extends beyond technical execution into coordinating multidisciplinary teams, resolving project challenges, managing contractor interfaces, and ensuring critical information is communicated effectively between owners, engineers, construction teams, and operations personnel. His practical approach to problem solving, stakeholder coordination, and project execution has helped clients reduce risk, improve communication, and support successful project delivery.
Throughout his career, Greg has also worked closely with clients in owners representative and consulting roles, providing independent oversight during construction, commissioning, and project execution. This experience has strengthened his ability to balance commercial objectives with technical requirements while maintaining alignment between project stakeholders. Justin Hooper is a Co-Founder of Summit Project Solutions, bringing nearly two decades of experience in the oil and gas, mining, and industrial sectors, with extensive expertise spanning commissioning, startup, operations, maintenance, well intervention, turnaround execution, logistics, and offshore leadership. His career has been built through progressively senior leadership roles on major industrial projects across Canada, providing a unique understanding of the full asset lifecycle, from construction and commissioning through long-term operations and production.
Throughout his career, Justin has held a wide range of leadership positions including Offshore Installation Manager (OIM), Logistics Supervisor, Wells Operations Supervisor, Production Maintenance Supervisor, Turnaround Execution Lead, Electrical & Instrumentation Lead, and Commissioning Specialist. This diverse background has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of complex industrial operations, allowing him to effectively integrate project execution with operational readiness, maintenance strategy, production optimization, and long-term asset reliability.
Throughout his career, Justin has consistently been recognized as a high-performing leader through annual performance evaluations. He has led and contributed to initiatives that have protected production, improved operational efficiency, reduced long-term maintenance costs, and delivered significant operational value through reliability improvements, execution strategies, and operational optimization.
Justin¡¯s experience extends across major offshore production facilities where he has managed simultaneous operations involving drilling, well intervention, maintenance, logistics, marine operations, aviation coordination, turnaround planning, contractor management, and emergency response. His ability to bridge the gap between project execution and day-to-day operations allows him to identify opportunities that improve safety, reduce operational risk, enhance maintainability, and maximize long-term asset performance.
Having progressed from hands-on commissioning and instrumentation roles into senior offshore leadership, Justin brings practical field experience combined with strategic operational decision-making. His background allows him to evaluate projects from the perspective of those who will ultimately operate and maintain the facility, ensuring that execution decisions today create safer, more reliable, and more efficient operations for years to come.

Jonathan Oake is a Co-Founder of Summit Project Solutions, bringing more than a decade of experience in industrial instrumentation and controls across the oil and gas and mineral processing industries. He has built his career delivering technically sound solutions that improve system reliability, operational readiness, and long-term asset performance.
Throughout his career, Jonathan has held technical specialist and leadership roles supporting major industrial facilities across Canada. His experience spans commissioning and startup, instrumentation and control systems, process automation, valve automation, equipment calibration, troubleshooting, maintenance execution, reliability improvement, and systems integration. He has successfully worked alongside engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to resolve complex technical challenges while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Jonathan has received factory training from several of the industry¡¯s leading instrumentation, automation, and measurement manufacturers, providing him with specialized knowledge of advanced technologies and best practices for installation, configuration, commissioning, diagnostics, and long-term asset support. His technical background includes extensive experience as an analytical instrumentation specialist, supporting the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of process analyzers and sampling systems used in critical industrial applications.
He also brings extensive experience supporting hydrocarbon measurement and custody transfer systems, including Measurement Canada compliance, meter proving, flow measurement verification, measurement uncertainty analysis, and well performance analysis. His experience includes supporting fiscal measurement systems, production optimization, regulatory compliance, and ensuring accurate hydrocarbon accounting throughout the production lifecycle.
In addition, Jonathan has extensive experience commissioning automated robotic industrial systems, integrating instrumentation and controls, communications, and process equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation during startup and handover.
Jonathan¡¯s diverse field experience enables him to bridge the gap between engineering design and day-to-day plant operations. His understanding of process control, measurement, analytical systems, and automation allows him to provide practical solutions throughout every stage of a project¡¯s lifecycle, from design review and construction support to commissioning, startup, maintenance, optimization, and ongoing operational support.

Chris Knox is a Co-Founder of Summit Project Solutions, bringing more than 12 years of experience in industrial execution, maintenance strategy, shutdowns, turnarounds, asset reliability, and offshore operations. With a background in mechanical maintenance and power engineering, he combines extensive hands-on technical knowledge with proven leadership in planning, coordinating, and executing complex work in demanding industrial environments.
Throughout his career, Chris has held maintenance, machinery advisory, planning, supervisory, and execution leadership roles supporting major offshore production facilities across Canada. His experience spans shutdown and turnaround execution, maintenance planning, contractor management, rotating equipment reliability, maintenance program development, resource coordination, work package development, and supervision of multidisciplinary teams responsible for maintaining critical production assets.
Chris brings a practical maintenance and operations perspective to every project, drawing on years of experience supporting critical production assets throughout their operational lifecycle. Having worked extensively on the assets that projects are ultimately built to support, he understands the importance of designing facilities that are safe, maintainable, reliable, and practical for long-term operation. His ability to evaluate equipment accessibility, maintenance requirements, lifecycle costs, spare parts strategies, and operational risks helps ensure projects deliver lasting value well beyond initial startup.
His experience also includes computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, machinery reliability, root cause failure analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Chris has worked closely with operations, engineering, construction, and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance, optimize maintenance programs, and reduce downtime across complex industrial facilities.
Throughout numerous shutdowns and major maintenance events, Chris has coordinated large work scopes involving multiple contractors, competing priorities, and critical production schedules. His disciplined planning approach, combined with practical field experience, allows him to manage execution safely while maintaining schedule, quality, and operational objectives.
